La r\u00e9ponse r\u00e9side dans les principes physiques du \u00ab settling \u00bb m\u00e9canique. Lorsqu\u2019une roue est rayonn\u00e9e, les \u00e9crous ne sont pas imm\u00e9diatement parfaitement \u00e0 fleur de la jante. Ils reposent sur des imperfections microscopiques dans la structure en carbone. Sous le poids du cycliste, ces imperfections s\u2019\u00e9crasent. L\u2019\u00e9crou glisse d\u2019une fraction de millim\u00e8tre. Le rayon perd de sa tension. La roue perd de sa rigidit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Avec les rayons en carbone, ce probl\u00e8me est amplifi\u00e9. La fibre de carbone pr\u00e9sente un module de traction incroyablement \u00e9lev\u00e9. Elle ne s\u2019\u00e9tire pas de mani\u00e8re plastique comme le fil d\u2019acier. Si un rayon en carbone perd ne serait-ce qu\u2019une infime fraction de sa tension en raison de l\u2019assise de l\u2019\u00e9crou, la rigidit\u00e9 lat\u00e9rale de la roue s\u2019effondre. C\u2019est pourquoi les roues bon march\u00e9 produites en s\u00e9rie pr\u00e9sentent des d\u00e9faillances. Elles sont tendues une seule fois, emball\u00e9es et exp\u00e9di\u00e9es. C\u2019est au client de proc\u00e9der au r\u00e9glage de la roue sur la route. Nous trouvons cela paresseux. Nous effectuons ce travail dans notre usine avant m\u00eame que la roue ne soit mont\u00e9e sur un pneu.<\/p>\n<p>Et puis, il y a le probl\u00e8me de la torsion des rayons. Lors du centrage de la roue, lorsque l\u2019\u00e9crou est tourn\u00e9, le rayon se tord. Un rayon tordu agit comme un ressort sous tension. D\u00e8s que vous heurtez un nid-de-poule ou que vous d\u00e9ploiez 1 000 watts sur les p\u00e9dales, ce ressort se d\u00e9tord. La tension chute instantan\u00e9ment. Pour \u00e9viter cela, nos monteurs utilisent des supports de rayons \u00e0 fentes sur mesure afin de bloquer physiquement le rayon en carbone en place. Mais m\u00eame dans ce cas, des micro-torsions se produisent. Il est m\u00e9caniquement impossible de fabriquer une roue stable en une seule \u00e9tape. Notre usine utilise un protocole exclusif de \u00ab double tension \u00bb. Tout d\u2019abord, les roues en carbone assembl\u00e9es \u00e0 la main sont rayonn\u00e9es et amen\u00e9es \u00e0 une tension de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence de 115 kgf du c\u00f4t\u00e9 de l\u2019entra\u00eenement. Ensuite, nous pla\u00e7ons la roue dans notre gabarit pneumatique de rel\u00e2chement des contraintes. Cette machine ne se contente pas de masser doucement la roue.
