Il raggio perde tensione. La ruota si allenta.<\/p>\n<p>Con i raggi in carbonio, questo problema si aggrava. La fibra di carbonio ha un modulo di elasticit\u00e0 incredibilmente elevato. Non si allunga plasticamente come il filo d\u2019acciaio. Se un raggio in carbonio perde anche solo una minima frazione della sua tensione a causa dell\u2019assestamento del nipplo, la rigidit\u00e0 laterale della ruota crolla. Ecco perch\u00e9 le ruote economiche prodotte in serie si guastano. Vengono tensionate una sola volta, imballate e spedite. \u00c8 il cliente a doversi occupare di regolare la ruota su strada. Lo riteniamo un approccio poco professionale. Noi svolgiamo questo lavoro nel nostro stabilimento prima ancora che la ruota venga montata su uno pneumatico.<\/p>\n<p>E poi c\u2019\u00e8 il problema della torsione dei raggi. Durante la centratura della ruota, quando si gira il nipplo, il raggio si torce. Un raggio attorcigliato \u00e8 come una molla sotto carico. Nel momento in cui si colpisce una buca o si applicano 1000 watt sui pedali, quella molla si distende. La tensione cala all\u2019istante. Per evitare ci\u00f2, i nostri costruttori utilizzano portaraggi con scanalature personalizzate per bloccare fisicamente il raggio in carbonio in posizione. Ma anche in questo caso si verificano micro-torsioni. Innanzitutto, le ruote in carbonio assemblate a mano vengono incordate e portate a una tensione di riferimento di 115 kgf sul lato di trasmissione. Successivamente, inseriamo la ruota nel nostro dispositivo pneumatico di alleggerimento delle tensioni.
